I'm running!
The legislature has formally voted on the redistricting maps, and it’s with great excitement today that I announce my candidacy for the Texas House of Representatives in District 73!
Redistricting has brought unexpected changes to Hays County. My home county has been split into two House seats. The newly drawn House District 73 contains the northwestern half of Hays County (Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Woodcreek, and Driftwood) and Comal County.
This election is critical because Texas is at a crossroads. Our state desperately needs fearless conservative leaders in the Texas House — something the Democrats’ desperate flight to Washington, D.C., proved. Texas must not follow the path of big government and progressive social ideology. We must stand firm for the principles that made our state a beacon of liberty for the world.
I’m grateful to announce my candidacy in conjunction with endorsements from former Dripping Springs mayor Todd Purcell, the Bulverde Spring Branch Conservative Republicans, and over 50 other local conservative leaders and organizations including:
“Our district needs Carrie Isaac: a representative who will be respected by her colleagues in the House, will fight for what is best for Texas and best for District 73,” said the Bulverde Spring Branch Conservative Republicans board of directors in their unanimous endorsement. “As a principled and faith-filled conservative, Carrie Isaac is the right leader for District 73.”
I’m grateful for the incredible enthusiasm from supporters across the Hill Country who have and will continue to work tirelessly for our campaign to send a principled conservative leader to the Capitol.
Jason, our boys, and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support over the years and humbly ask for your vote for state representative for House District 73!
