Texas state troopers need your help!
In April of this year I visited the border. I had the opportunity to speak with local sheriffs, Border Patrol, and State Troopers. They are spread thin and resources are running low.
Our Texas State Troopers have reached out asking for donations of much-needed supplies for not only their officers, but the thousands of other law enforcement officers from out of state who are coming to assist us during this humanitarian and public safety crisis. Our officers are most in need of hydration packs, bug spray, sunscreen, water bottles, and personal-sized coolers.
These items will be delivered to the Troopers who have come in from around the country to assist our brave Texas State Troopers along the border.
Monetary donations can also be made online through the Texas DPS Troopers Foundation.
You can drop items off at:
LifeAustin Church in Southwest Austin (8901 State Hwy 71, Austin, TX 78735)
Texas Department Of Public Safety Officers Association office (5821 Airport Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752)
Thank you for spreading the word and helping Texas stop this border crisis.
