Veterans Back Carrie Isaac
Daughter of an air force veteran
My father served honorably in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic and set a powerful example of what it means to serve — both to serve our country and to serve those around you. I’m grateful every day for his selfless service to keep our pilots flying and for the thousands of men and women like him who have put their lives on the line for our freedom.
I’m proud to be a veteran’s daughter, and as your next state representative I’ll always vote to support our men and women in uniform!

I proudly voted for Prop 1 in 2011, Prop 4 in 2013, and Prop 2 in 2015 extending property tax exemptions to disabled veterans and surviving spouses of disabled veterans. It’s the least we can offer the men and women injured while fighting for America.
Meanwhile, my opponent has been absent for every single opportunity to support our veterans and their families in the Texas Constitution.
working for veterans with PTSD
I run a nonprofit called the Digital Education and Work Initiative of Texas (DEWIT), which helps underemployed Texans find digital jobs they can do from home. Our pilot project with a local nonprofit and tech company helped disabled veterans find meaningful, upwardly mobile work. One Army veteran who participated in the pilot program stated, “I really enjoyed the work. I didn’t know what to expect at first, and it took me a while to get a good workspace—but now, I’m ready. I would love to keep doing jobs like these!”
The Democrats are attacking me for this work without merit — they know they can’t win, so they’re resorting to cheap smear tactics. The Austin American-Statesman gave a platform to frivolous false accusations despite the nonprofit’s documented success in its own paper — just days after endorsing her opponent.
““The liberal media and her political opponents are making a last-minute false attack against a person and a non-profit who have served this community well.””
